I've seen it for £499.00 at John Lewis - does anyone know any cheaper price. I need this as its 55 width and has a fold down top

Zanussi gas cookers are best avoided. I bought one and the flames from the rings and the ovens still show up orange flame to this date. When I adjust the flame, it is even worse. Gas flame should be blue. I got the engineer out twice. All he said was it was supposed to be like that. I went to my friend's house and she lived in a basement apartment in posh SW7, her flame was clear blue, no orange flame whatsoever. My gas fitter said it should not be burning orange flame. In the end, they swapped me another same thing. In the rush to get a lid which would not shatter and would shut off the system, I forgot to make sure that the oven has fan, FAN. Now, the cooking takes ages and certain parts are burnt while inside not cooked. BEST AVOIDED. When I phoned gas-safe, the man said if the manual said that orange flame was acceptable part of the operation - and I quote: I AM NOT GOING TO ARGUE WITH THE MANUFACTURER'S MANUAL! Period, It is one of my worst buys! I wish you luck. I am not bossy, I do want people NOT to repeat my mistake. You can't buy another machine like blinking your eyelid! Good luck and happy new year!
