Zia petit star is good. Reclines and has a small basket. It folds down well and id a fairly big pushcair so should last your little one until they no longer need one. Cost from £100 dependeing on colour.

I have bought Obaby pushchairs for my two, they are easy to push, lightweight and not too expensive.

There is a very good deal for the Bebe Confort Loola at Boots.
We got that one and are very happy, as it folds very small (will fit in almost any cars boot easily) and is quickly put together. Only downside: it is only suitable for the city, not for unpaved roads etc.

It totally depends upon whether you are using public transport, you have your own car, whether you will be doing shopping when with the baby etc.

Overseas, I had a car so I had a bigger system. Here, I had no car so I bought a Maclaren similar to this http://www.mothercare.com/Maclaren-Volo-Stroller-Charcoal/dp/B003602J6O.

My child was about 2 years old then and we had to navigate the tube and buses as well as going shopping as her mother wasn't around to help out.

I've tried complete travel systems in the past and they are ok for 0-9 months but after that you are better off with dedicated products.

Maybe you can get a more robust pushchair but if you are going on tubes or buses then you need flexibility and compactness. You do not need oversized and overweight buggies I can tell you !

Same here. Obaby pushchairs are easy to push, lightweight and not too expensive. Folding/unfolding can be a bit stiff the first few times.
