My Inspiron 1501 has just died on me, not even being two years old. It seems to have an overheating problem and dies in a few minutes.

So any good deals spending about £400 on a new laptop? Been looking but a lot of them are expired! Would prefer not to go for a referb.

Would prefer it to be functional rather than looking all flash - i do quite high intensity stuff, burn DVD's web design etc so im looking for a decent processor.

Thanks for your help,
