Hi have you tried registering for your local freecycle site? I gave away our walker a few months ago to someone on our local site.
http://www.freecycle.org/groups/unitedkingdom/

We have given away loads of our baby stuff through our site.

If you want to buy new then Kiddicare have a couple at £19.99 but there is a £5.99 delivery charge. There were some in B&M last time I was in there as well I think they were about £20, but not entirely sure.

hi - I have a Chicco DJ baby walker for sale but i'm in London and I'm not sure what it would cost to post it. It's only been used a couple of times and is good as new. It cost £45 new and i'm looking for £10 if you can arrange your own collection. Let me know. Actually you might be able to help me. I'm looking for a large rental property in North Wales (poss with swimming pool etc) do you happen to know any good sites I could look at?

B& M is a shop that sells some really good bargains but if you haven't heard of it I would guess you havent got one local.
:)

Have you looked at other freecycle sites near yours? we use the surrounding areas sites as well, as our local site is quite small.

I've been to snowdonia although many years ago as a child but don't really know the area at all other than that (my family are from South Wales) so anywhere that's scenic and near to good fishing and golf would be great. I'm organising a surprise family trip for my dads 60th and that's what he likes to do, but as I have three young children and my brother has two, we need stuff to keep them amused. :)

thanks for all that - baby just woken for lunch so will check it all out later. Sounds like a beautiful place to live. Yes - looked at holidays lettings and owners direct but if it's big enough it's out of budget etc etc but will keep looking anyway. Re baby walker - no problems, look into it and come back to me. Our daughter was a really late walker (17 months - finally!) so we bought this and within a few weeks she was cruising (which she did forever!) so she barely went in it. If postage works out too much look at littlewoods or one of the catalogues - they all have sales on at the mo so you might find one.

You could always advertise yours on freecycle, along with anything else you don't want to take when you move, will save you the trip to the tip.
