Wanted: Bathroom Suite

Hi guys.

I've bought my first house, very exciting.. though it needs alot of work...
(it looks like something out of the young ones)
I'm not looking to spend too much on the place as I will be renting the other rooms out to my friends (young professionals, but dirty ******s at times :)

I need to replace the bathroom suite (bath, sink, toilet)
The current one is cream, but I may go for a basic white ish one
I also need to put in an electric shower, so probably glass shower guard is nicer than a curtain
I also will need some shelves/cabinet.

So any tips or sites will be welcome.

(should be posting one of these every week or so, as i work my way round the house)

(sorry for double post forget the email notification)

Thanks for the offer.
We will be looking for a new sofa, but unfortunately we are looking for a lighter colour to match the walls etc.

(but leather does hold water... :)

I reckon it would all flood out the front though.

Sarcasm makes the world go round.

B&Q as well, you should ask for the 'waste' as well, if you can't use whats left from your old suite.

If not, try you local dump, you occasionally get good nick stuff in them. My local charged a fiver each for bath, toilet, etc.

I just like you have bought my first house and it needed gutting. I bought my bathroom suite from Wickes for just £189. I have just had it fitted and it is brill!

I found Wickes to be the cheapest for most stuff and ended up buying my cooker, hob, radiators, worktops and some tiles from there aswell. Also if you spend over £300 they deliver for free and having it delivered makes such a difference!

If you have any find any cheap deals while your doing up your house i would be grateful of them!!!

Hope this helps!!
