Hi im after a lens to replace my "Tamron 70-300mm f4-5.6 Di LD Macro" which is up for trade £100. It is in very good condition. i would be interested in any lens but with preference to an IS (image stabilility) eg

Canon EF-S 55-250mm f4-5.6 IS
Canon EF-S 18-200mm f3.5-5.6 IS
Canon EF 28-300mm f3.5-5.6L IS USM
Canon EF 70-200mm f4L IS USM
Canon EF 70-200mm f2.8L IS USM
Canon EF 70-300mm f4.5-5.6 DO IS USM
Canon EF 100-400mm f4.5-5.6L IS USM

I will consider all other lenses so please check if you have one you dont need no more

Also after a Speedlite flash must be ex

This is all for my canon 450d by the way.

Thanks Ben

Also try calling some local camera shops as they have a lot of second hand traded in stuff.
I know jessops does this.

Also if you want to be a bit adventurous try getting in touch with this shop in St Maarten in the Caribbean.

I know that the one stop digital cover any import charges.

The camera shop in the caribbean I bought the flash from was when I was over there.
The guy gave me his card and did say however that if I needed any stuff to email them and they would sort something out, wink wink,
Usually fedex gets through ok without any charges.

Although the dollar exchange isnt as good just now so might not be the cheapest option at the moment, but St Maarten at the time was one of the cheapest places to get camera gear if you were willing to barter.
At the time he was willing to sell me a 40d body for 500quid and it was retailing here for around just under 900 lol.

Have you tried Calumet also in the uk?

Good luck, I too have been waiting for the bargain to come along to upgrade my "Tamron 70-300mm f4-5.6 Di LD Macro" to a "Canon EF 100-400mm f4.5-5.6L IS USM" also for my 450D. Fingers crossed, was considering if Jessops would take part exchange for a new one!

They don't sell second hand stuff either, well that's what the guy in the Peterborough store told me
