Wanted: Diamond Necklace

I'm looking for a necklace for my wife. Something in 18 carat gold (preferably white gold), diamond (about 1 carat?) though I'm not sure how much I should be paying or who is good for the price combined with quality. Price is a key.

I reckon I'll looking at around the £250 ballpark.

Thanks,

AV

Hi,

I assume you want a solitare. One carat is a big diamond are you sure you want this big ?

however a good place to start is gems TV. they have a web site that you can search for the metal type and stone. they do decent stuff and do just what it says on the tin - no middle men - so prices are keen.

worth a try,

Ian

Maybe a solitaire or a drop or something.

I'll have a look at gemstv. If 1 carat is too big, I'll go smaller.

Thanks :-)

Stay well clear of anyone with a TV channel...

They have HUGE overheads...

I've bought loads of diamonds for my wife...

Look at Ebay and have any purchase valued as soon as it arrives...

I have bought items from Apexent and Platinum Diamonds‏...

Watch them though, if they can get away with it, they will...

I actually ended up with a free diamond bracelet from Apexent...

What do you mean get away with it?

What if you value an item from eBay and it's a fraud, what can ya do then?!

They will say it's worth more than it is...

Have it valued as soon as it arrives...

Often the items i have had valued have been worth more than the listed rrp.

You can return the item or have some money refunded...

Especially now the feedback system has changed...
