Looking to buy a laptop cable of running games like Starcraft 2 on high graphics, also the help of money off codes would be nice.

I have had a ook around and seen reviews and as much as I hate to say I think alienware do look to be the best for a gaming laptop... are they?

Thanks!

Look at Sony VAIO's E series - i have a nice EB my self ( VPCEB2C5E ) cost me £680

i5 450m
4gb RAM
ATI Radeon 5650HD Graphics card

Plays Crysis on High quite well - so should suffice.

Was a custom built one from the Sony website - Google Sony Vaio then chose the E series and customise one :)

I feel mine can run games fine on high graphics - but when i want to record the gameplay using FRAPS the laptop cant really handle both - so its good until you want to do that.

High on Starcraft?

Never tried it sorry - But most other games - like Crysis, STFU, Mafia II etc - all on high no problems.

At the end of they day though, a Desktop would be better suited for gaming than a laptop, unless you want portability....

There was an alienware lappy being sold on here in FS/FT think the thread got closed for some reason though might be worth checking out.

Alienware are pretty Dell's brand now though.

Thanks, but prefferably looking for a new one with warranty as a gaming laptop is a big investment, well for me anyways :)
