I just booked a twin room for £34 with breakfast through booking.com at the Euro Wembley (Elm Hotel) less than half a mile from the arena it looks ok and has continantal breakfast included - there is a travelodge there on the travelodge site available for £29
And I was going to suggest Premier Inn in Wembly but"octobergirl" hotel prices are Much lower :-

We've often stayed at P.I. (at other locations in uk) and been happy with them. I noticed there's one in Wembly, but can't comment on it personally. Did a quick availabliity search and they had a family room available for Tuesday 8th for £80 (+ £7.95 each adult extra for breakfast). Their family rooms for 4 usually have a sofa bed and an extra fold up bed (in addition to double bed).

P.I. also got some "from £29 per room" offers going round for premier inn, unfortunately not wembley one.

Look here under premier inn in wembly 1 family room for 2a & 2c 1 night Tuesday 8th Sept £80

You don't say how many nights you want or how far out of wembly you're prepared to stay.

Thanks a bunch for your feedback and effort, you have both been duly repped, I only intend on a overnight stay as we will be going to visit some relatives but the missus wants to do some shopping while we're there so i'll be packing plenty of ProPlus and paracetamols. I think that for cost vs. time we'll spend there the travelodge option is probably the best.
Thanks again to you both.
www.moneysavingsupermarket.com put your details in their hotels search
