so im looking for a small freeview box that i can store underneath the TV or hidden away if thats possible

How about a compact scart receiver ? just pop it in the back of your telly ?

Here is quite a good option. It also has a usb port. If you have a usb memory stick you can watch divx movies, play mp3s etc as well

In gonna make a new thread asking for the cheapest 19-22" HDTV with built in freeview before getting a tv and a freeview box

I got a freeview box from Woolworths a few weeks ago. Only 16.89

Fantastic little box, well worth the money !

I had this box and it wasn't very good, it would freeze every so often and need unplugging. Probably just a faulty unit though, could happen to any of the cheap ones, but was also pretty big compared to others and I didn't like the feel of the menus either.

You should return it for being faulty...

Someone i know has had no problems with it and she finds the menu easy to use...

I don't think this one has a 7-day EPG, which is useful.
