I am after a large number of sample sachets (creams, perfumes, shower gels, shampoo's etc.) for some Goodie bags I am making up for a charity do. (Am struggling to obtain freebies from companies as lacking the gift of the gab!!)

Please let me know what you have and how much you wanted (not looking to spend a huge amount to be honest!) with p&p included.

Thanks for reading!

If it's for charity have you tried going to perfume and cosmetics counters in department stores like John Lewis or House of Fraser? They often have samples they can give away and if you say it's for charity then it's not like you have to feel embarrassed for blagging them for yourself... Using "samples" as a search term on ebay in the health and beauty section also might be a good place to start if you can't find any proper freebies.
As philomene says, go to Boots, Debenhams, House of Fraser, John Lewis and go from one beauty counter to the next - Lancome, Dior, Clarins, Benefit etc and ask for samples. Then go the next day and see if there are different people working on the counters.
Also go to The Body Shop, Lush, SpaceNK, Jo Malone, Molton Brown (I know all of these do sample sizes as I have had them in the past (free with purchase or when browsing and asking to try something so I'd definitely ask for a charitable cause).
Maybe you could phone up some of those places as well explaining why you are making up the goodie bags - if you are nervous, write on a piece of paper what you want to say:
Your name
Hoping it might be possible to ask for some samples.
Organising charity goody bags - name which charity - name the function you are doing the bags for - name the date of function (backs up your request).
Lots of thank yous and hopefully you will get some goodies!
Good luck for your goodie search and charity fundraising.
If you set up a justgiving page you can get people to donate there and there is the bonus of gift aid which optimises donations. It is so easy to set up a page and really convenient for people to use.

Thanks veyr much for your advice - I've been trawling the streets of Leicester today with my letter stating exactly what I'm organising and what I would like. Managed to get a few bits & pieces but mainly had to leave the letter for someone else to make the decision.... fingers crossed I'll get a few phone calls back to go and collect some Raffle Prizes. Goodie bag wise it was a hard old slog - I had to speak to the floor managers on the perfume & cosmetic floors of the big shops. Need to find more! Thinking cap back on but thanks ever so much for the advice sickly sweet and philomene.
