Hi there..
This is my very 1st post on HotUkDeals so forgive me if ive not gone about it the right way!
Im looking to buy a laptop to replace my desktop but also to use for my office work. Id also like it to Play Blu-Ray through a 42 ins im looking for.
I'm not really using the laptop for gaming more for multi-media and i may invest in the latest Adobe Photoshop for my photography.
Do you think the Acer Aspire 5520g is the best value for my money?
The specs are listed below and ive found this on play.com for £499.99, presuming you can still use the 5% RAC code the price would be taken down to £474.99.

Any advice would be appreciated e.g Am i buying old technology? Is there something better / faster out there?

If your using it for Photoshop, maybe look for a laptop with a slightly better graphics card with more memory. Maybe 512MB, instead of 256.
Thanks any reccomendations for around £500?
