No its not the one you're looking for but ........

I bought one of these over the weekend http://www.comet.co.uk/cometbrowse/product.do?sku=206628

Previous price £249, reduced to £199. Because it was under £200 the five yr cover price was also reduced to £99.99. Chuck in free delivery and its coming next week for £298.99

will probably stick with bosch the engineer that came to look at old one (hotpoint) said he had never had to fix a bosch at all.

yep a repair guy said the same thing to my sister a few weeks ago when her Zanussi was declared a right off...of course she ignored his advice, and mine, and has bought a Hotpoint despite all the bad reviews on reliability.

A word of warning, if I may. Bosch have recently started making a 'budget range' of machines at around the £250 price mark. Although these carry the 2yr guarantee, they are no better than the usual indesit / candy / etc at this price range. A Bosch engineer mate told me this. True to form, our 13mnth old Bosch went big-time, and was an uneconomical repair and replaced.

If you want the warranty for 2yrs and chance it after that go for a budget Bosch. If you want reliability you still need to be spending £400+ on a Bosch or a Miele if you can stretch that far. We went for a cheapy 'disposable Candy' for £119.99 on a deal from Apollo 2000, still going into its 3rd year. Bit of a lottery really. ;-)
