Do not buy hotpoint/indesit, Hoover/Candy washers, They all unreliable and you'll be lucky if they last more than the standard warranty.

I had a beko and it knackered after 13 months

Hi, I've found my Whirlpool machine (found on this very site six years ago!) to be excellent. It's well used and I've never had any problems with it. Whirlpool is known to be a reliable brand, better than Hotpoint. It is a 1200 spin speed, 4kg machine.

This appears to be an updated version of mine - its 1400 spin speed and 6kg load, which are plenty for most people. It's £199 with free next day delivery :)http://ao.com/product/WWDC64001-Whirlpool-Washing-Machine-White-27918.aspx?&WT.z_PT=MDA&WT.z_MT=Search&WT.z_RTM=PLA&WT.z_DT=c&WT.z_AT=washing%20machines&WT.z_BR=Whirlpool&WT.z_FT=Free%20Standing&WT.z_PC=WWDC6400/1_WH&WT.srch=1
