years ago when I worked at "one of the biggest electrical retailers".. we were always taught that a washer dryer will never do either function as well as separate appliances will do. If you have space for both....

Yes, ordered a washing machine. Quidco tracked but didn't pay out.

Always been happy with Samsung myself large wash loads available (it plays a tune when its finished too). I would say no to a washer/dryer combo after working for a large electrical retailer.

hi ellie have you gt the link to the one you purchased. it's not opening for me an I'm on the hunt for a new one as mine us on its last legs

Just get a washer, Very rare the dryer side lasts, they're inefficient and best avoided regardless of brand. You're lucky that your Hotpoint has lasted that long, especially if the dryer cycle still works.

Anyway, imo Bosch, Miele, Samsung and LG make the best washing machines.

Beko offer the best value imo.

Avoid, Hotpoint, Indesit, Ariston, Hoover, Candy and Whirlpool.

Links not working
search Tesco .... Hotpoint Extra Washing Machine, WMXTF 842G UK, 8KG load, with 1400 rpm - Graphite

Use the code TDX-HJKT to get 20% off at checkout.

I'd get a washer drier. Definitely worth it especially during the colder/wetter months.

Replied to you above!

Hotpoint Extra Washing Machine, WMXTF 842G UK, 8KG load, with 1400 rpm - Graphite £239, free delivery and free recycling/removal of old machine. When I ordered on Sunday night it said 'delivery by 23 Nov' which I thought was a bit far..... its coming tomorrow morning!

Link seems to be working now
