I don't know where to start.

I need to purchase a domain.
I need a good host (not a free one).
I am expecting there to be a large amount of traffic/viewers.
I need design help - ie.... a site that is user friendly but not restricted to certain designs. I am creative and have ideas but don't know what is possible - and I want to change the design and add things over time.

Your advice is very much appreciated.

Thank you!!!!

www.34sp.com are pretty good, got a couple of websites running on the basic packages and they came highly recommended to me. You get PHP and MySQL access as default which are handy for building easy to maintain dynamic databases.

Drop me a PM for what your trying to do and i'll see if i can help.

As a Web Designer myself, i use www.one.com. Has a WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) interface or if you are more advanced you can upload your files. They also have prebuilt templates you can use to get you started.

Price - £9 + vat for the year, including domain name.

includes a google adwords voucher as well.

Excellent service, never had an issue in the 2 + years i've been using them

hope that helps

If you are a novice, then I would recomend this site;
http://www.doyourownsite.co.uk/

If you want to check out the site I made with it, then drop me a PM. you can get it looking fairly decent, without the use of HTML, which is always a bonus!

:roll: always best to learn a new skill in life, why not start with HTML, or even better XHTML!
