I still remember someone posted a website for comparing deals on SLR cameras but couldn't find it from the new site of hotukdeal...

Anyone knows?

A big thanks in advance!

there's www.camerapricebuster.co.uk which should give you a pretty good idea on prices. Obv, it wont include things like quidco or other vouchers that are on here (although some are shown)

about £349 from comet i missed a 1/2 price flash deal they had on too :( (there are a few other items that are reduced when u purchase the camera from comet too)
pixmania has a deal on at the moment but with the postage its only £2 cheaper than comet

£350 is about the same price as a 400D, so why do youy want the 350D?

You can reserve a 400D from Currys for £410 delivered, get 5% quidco (i.e.-£20) and then get the cashback of £50 so would be £340. This doesnt account for any vouchers that might be around either.

Currys also have an instore (meaning I couldnt find it on the website) offer of £420 for the camera and kit lens and an Altus 140 or 160 bag I forget which. This is a particularly good deal for them as the camera on its own is £430!, but you can get the reserve and collect price of £410 still if you dont want the bag

hmm thats a valid point but reading the reviews for the 400d and the 350d the 350d came out better everytime (picture quality wise) and you didn't gain anything for the extra £100's (at the time) but as you say (i forgot about the cashback to be honest) why not spend the extra and have the newer model... hmm now i'm confused
