When i was in dubai i flew with emirates, the flights really are great and very reasonably priced

I stayed in the Ibis world trade centre hotel, this hotel was a 3*, cost us £50 a night per room and does free airport transfers. This hotel is not on the beach though, if your looking for a beach hotel it will be costly. Was a really nice hotel for the cost.....good reviews on trip advisor.

If you want a romantic weekend break (especially if its for your honeymoon) Id highly recommend

http://www.al-maha.com/

or if too pricey,

http://www.jumeirahbabalshams.com/

Both are very romantic and lovely resorts located on the outskirts / in the desert (I personally think Dubai centre is too Disneyesque)

Bab al Shams has several free shuttles to the city each day (both ways) so you can get the best of both worlds. Nothing beats sitting on the rooftop bar at the Bab Al Shams staring into the sky with a shishah and a nice drink.

No matter where you stay (whether it be in the city centre or one of the desert resorts) I def recommend going to the Al Hadheerah Desert Restaurant located a few minutes from Bab al Shams. http://www.jumeirahbabalshams.com/dining/al_hadheerah/

This way you guys get to experience falconry / camel rides etc and can always hop on a shuttle to the city centre should you decide to go shopping

I went with airline-network and had a deal with flights with emirates and a great hotel included in the price - £400 for 4 days which I thought was a great price. Do the desert safari with evening meal!

specialist in package deals to dubai. I have seen 3 night packages for £1k each to stay in the 7* hotel on this site.

I use them all the time, to be honest, as proven on here before, cheaper than most other places :)
