Looking for a cheap Hotel near Wembley Stadium for the 25-26th October 2008 (2 people sharing).
Very hard when you don't know the London area.
Would really appreciate any information or deals that are going on this.

Thanks in advance,

This might be the hotel with your price range in mind. You might want to have a look on some other sites but usually the going rate for Wembley hotels are about £70-£80 a night...

Try ths 2 nights for 1 code for Holiday express works out £37.50 per night (£75 total) for a twin or double room for the 2 nights of the 25 and 26th october you want at the Park royal Hotel.

Just beside North Acton underground station on the central line tube. Central line to Bond street station and change onto Jubillee (silver line) and get train direct to Wembley park (Stadium in front of this station, down the walkway). Know it is 18 stops on the tube but it really is only about 25 mins on the tube and you are much near central London with Oxford Circus and Marble Arch only a few stops away. Click on www.tfl.gov.uk for a tube map. There is actually not much to do in Wembley (there is a Sunday Market, which is cancelled on big event days), outside of the Stadium (my Aunt lives in wembley ) and it has a heavy police presence during major events. Most people prefer to leave the area and stay elsewhere before/after events. By the way Shepherds Bush has a good market on a Saturday and 3 stops away. If you want a cheap tour of London, go to Marble Arch and get the no 15 bus outside the station,as it goes to the tower of London via london landmarks. If you get a one day off peak travel card (after 9.30am) you can use it on all the London buses and trains- zone 1-4 is £5.90. You can also use your train ticket with a voucher from this site (eg. Tower Of London).to get a lot of 2 for 1 offers http://www.daysoutguide.co.uk/attraction-types/landmarks.aspx
