See people often quote ℅ cashback offers on deals here but as I have not used either, wondered if one is rated better or offers better than the other and also which one is most secure and trustworthy??

I find Topcashback more reliable for payouts and better customer service. Cashback rates tend to vary, but I often find TCB marginally better.

I've used both.

TCB tracks 99.9%. I very rarely have to submit a claim with them. I like the fact I can get vouchers, clubcard points as well as cash with TCB.

Quidco, I have to report claims regularly. However, I haven't used Quidco for about a year so not sure if it's improved.

Both are reliable and do pay out. The best thing to do is to see which pays the higher cash back amount.

Definitely sign up with both and see the cash backs mount up.

I have only been with Quidco and I have had 100% reliability!

Given the choice between the two, I'd lean slightly towards using TCB - but generally I'll just opt for whichever gives the greater cashback amount for a given purchase. I've had no significant difficulties through my time of membership at either either.

use both. check the rates on both before each purchase.
TCB often try to beat quidco by a pitiful fraction of a percent to lay claim to the crown (e.g. quidco 3%, TCB 3.03% - on a purchase of £15 that's 45p and 45.45p) BUT sometimes they have special offers - i think last time I used it, quidco has a special 10% deal on the item I was buying whereas TCB only had a standard rate (in the region of 1 or 2%)
I now use TCB predominantly as they allow you to convert to clubcard points (with a little bonus). I then have enough points to make the clubcard boost worthwhile, because as someone who rarely shops at tesco, i never really build up any points.

Don't limit yourself to just one. If you shop online quite often then you might find that using both is advantageous.

I have about 10 claims with quidco at the moment all of them are either declined or taking forever and getting nowhere, they have offered me 20 quid twice as compensation and it's a joke. so far overall I have technically earn over 1000 quid with them.

I personally prefer quidco. If you have kids check out kidstart.co.UK

TCB are faster at paying out compared to Quidco who take three times longer + you can exchange your cashback for Tesco Clubcard points or retail vouchers i.e Amazon, House of Fraser.

definitely seems to be a trend towards TCB, thank you guys, had no idea I could convert to clubcard points and other vouchers with them....I guess my only remaining concern is the tracking and security of your bank card details and account information which they surely need to give you cash back...anyone had issues of card details being compromised or scams on either site??

A trend....with 9 replies....and thousands of users !!!

Stopped using TCB due to our last 3 transactions failing to pay out with the same lame excuses....they are both secure but neither are trustworthy as no payment is guaranteed and they continue to post cashback for companies that are known for not paying....

I am a long time user of Quidco and my first two attempts at TCB failed. So, I have carried on using Quidco. Almost all my transactions track, and most importantly the ones with big cashback amounts have worked. In terms of the rates, they vary by small amounts (usually 0.1%) which make negligible impact on the payout.

I use both but I have found quidco dont always payout. TCB has never failed.

TCB without a doubt.

I only use Quidco. You can save more runnig both daz and its relatively easy to do but personally I only rock Quidco as the simple search and the fact that I dont have time to spend hours trawling the absolute possible best deal all of the time I found quidco easier to use. I also joined as a premium (so ive got live chat with the site) you dont have to have but that only cost me £5 of my cashback.

Last year I made £51.40 cashback with 4 purchases. I buy my home insurance every year through quidco..this year My home insurance was £97 renewal when bought through Quidco Im scheduled to get £80 back in August. Phone deals, Mobile deals, and even energy can be great to use through here as are holidays. I dont do every single deal as sometimes the hassle isnt worth 50p.

I never had an issue with quidco or TCB... run both if you can and have time...if not in my own personal opinion i've always seemed to get better rates through quidco.

I'd go with TCB because I find them far more reliable than Quidco and ILoveCashback (curse you ILC!), the cashback tracks, and if it doesn't, I make a claim while it does take its time but in the end I get the amount I was expecting.
#19
I only use Quidco, they have always been great for me. Even when cashback fails to track or confirm they stepin pretty quickly. I never had much luck with TCB, but that was around 6 years ago - things could have changed.
#20
I use Quidco because TCB never tracks for me, May be it's my browser? I don't know so I just stick with Quidco but I'm sure they've both got pro's and cons and it's nearly free money :), I've had to raise a few claims over the years but I'd say 95% of them are successful. Free money almost :).
