Hey guys,

Can someone please put out to me what the difference between these 2 laptops is. Obviously i am aware that one has an i-3 processor BUT does it really make a difference in terms of the extra £50?

http://www.saveonlaptops.co.uk/Acer_Aspire_5741Z_988476.html

VS

http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/acer-aspire-5742-laptop-intel-core-i3-hdmi-output-3gb-500gb-15-6-display-349-tes/928441?page=1

Basically this laptop is only going to be used for general web surfing, MS Office and probably iplayer/itunes etc etc.....

OR if i can get a good recommendation for a budget 0f £300 to an absolute max of £350.

Prefer to buy in store
Prefer 3gb min for win7
Got to be a 15" screen

thanks

Get yourself on the Dell Outlet.

http://outlet.euro.dell.com/Online/InventorySearch.aspx?brandId=7&c=uk&cs=ukdfh1&l=en&s=dfh

For eg:

Base Inspiron 1564
Operating System Genuine Windows 7 Home Premium (64 BIT)
Processor Intel i3-330M(2.13GHz)
Hard Disk Drive 250GB (5400rpm)
Memory Memory : 3GB(1x1GB + 1x2GB)1066MHz DDR3 Dual Channel
Media Bay Optical Drive : 8X DVD+/-RW Drive including software
NoteBook Screen 15.6in High Definition (1366X768) WLED
System Color LCD Back Cover Passion Purple
Video Intel Graphics Media Accelerator HD

for £294 delivered.

My only advice is to avoid Celeron processors in laptops and avoid Acer!
