Why don't you just ask your parents what they want?

That's what do. Never hurts to ask.

Cinema vouchers. Put in a card with chocolates that are nice so that rules out Cadburys

I asked mine....Dad wanted a rugby shirt and mum wanted a hand painted ceramic egg from a local pottery. I'd never have guessed, so I'd ask for suggestions and see what they come up with :)

For the last couple of years I've got mine magazine subscriptions. They love them!! Runs all through the year and easy to do. Will be doing them again this year!

Magazine subscription is a good idea, might do that for the grandparents!

I normally ask them and tell them if they don't name anything specifically they will get random stuff.

Normally top it up with sweets, chocolates, socks or other small pieces.

They do love them, think they'd be disappointed if I didn't one year! If you do it for Christmas they usually start end of jan depending when issues come out. Not too pricey either!!

How random, because I know your parents are vegan tree huggers , Goths , or country and western fans. Surprise them.

I found a website that delivers you ingredients for a nice meal every month. Got it for my brother after not knowing what to get, he said it was really good and some spices used he now users all the time.

Helpfully.... I can't remember the name of the website though.
