Hi, my sisters birthdays is in a couple of days and she'll be turning 25, and as her younger brother I have no idea what to get for her. She's pretty hard to buy for. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas. Anything upto about £230 but don't mind if its a bit over. Oh and no shoes btw thank you

quite a lot of choice with that budget
personally never spent that much on any of mine, but your choice
also consider something small and personalised - cost isnt a reflection of meaning if its more thoughtful and personal

also
as its hukd
dont forget to use a cashback site for yourself if your getting some thing online too can be up to 10% so not a bad amount

A TV, tablet, perfume, voucher so she could buy handbag / clothes..... Maybe a spa break / night in a fancy hotel she could use with her friend / partner?

Thanks for your reply, I'm thinking more towards a physical object e.g bracelet or bag. Rather than experiences like track days or spa's.

And Im making up for all the birthdays I didn't get her anything !

A handbag seems like a good choice, maybe a designer one, but there's so many varieties of them

and a few charms, and then all you need to get her for next many birthdays is a new charm to go on it....

That's a good idea! Thank you for the links, some of the spa days look good, currently checking them out and the bracelets. Thanks for your help

Just give her 25 quid, a pound for each year & spend the rest of the money on yourself! :D

Can only speak for myself but I'm not into Pandora. Maybe a little detective work is needed to find out her taste in jewellery, perfume, any unusual passions or interests she has? Ask a few of her friends for some pointers?

You're such a sweet brother going to such trouble to make your sister happy :)

A long weekend in the sun for 2 AI should be about that (outside school hols). Or failing that a Holiday voucher so she can choose :)

My sister same 17:30 is going to turn 25. I was thinking a bag too. Michael kors bags are the ones which are around the £250 price. Or giftcard for selfridges so she can pick her own. Or just get one you might have seen her like/seen a similiar one worn by her then she can always return if you inc gift receipt.

For my sisters 24 rather than 25th I got here a set of clothes and then one of these sculpted from a picture of her wearing the same clothes that I had bought her: http://www.1minime.com/

Had to be planned quite a while in advance but worth it.

ive narrowed it down to a michael kors bag, a bracelet from swarovski and either a spa day or a weekend away.

As a 25 year old woman, I would use that money to buy 2/7ths of a lovely little handbag.

It honestly depends on what she's into as far as presents go.
In my family we don't give that many presents, but when we do, they're grand, sentimental gestures. Part of the the reason behind this is everyone knows what they like and are able to buy these things themselves.
For that money, you could buy a lovely bound book of photo memories of her life and then take her out for a great night of food, drinks and fun, which would (to some people) mean more than an inanimate object they could pop into Argos and buy for themselves.

She is so lucky to have a sweet brother. My brother don't buy me anything, never mind, life goes on :|
