Whiskey and viagra for the FIL, and a dildo for the MIL. Make sure they have a good sense of humour/are sexually active first though.

Not getting the old bag anything, will leave that to hubby. If I had to buy her something.... A one way ticket to the dignitas clinic

Lol love this thread! Mines getting a personalised plaque board thing that my kids designed. She will moan, I'll get defensive and then I get silence for 6 months.. Bliss

Yes, personalised gifts are an easy option. Tesco do some great ones from cushions to calendars. Especially good if they have a pet and you've got a photo you can use.

Same thing as I got her last year but a different colour..

Foot all. .....

Got her a really nice scarf that I'd like for myself, but I really like my mum in law so i probably will give it to her...

I bought her and her partner tickets to see a show at a local theatre for a bit later in the year and chocolates - rather boring compared to some of the other replies!

Some great ideas and funny ones. Mines is no longer living which is probably why my response of a wreath is both honest and funny to those who don't get on.

I find incontinence pants can't go wrong. A winner every time. 8)
