Hi all,

I'm interested in buying a printer that will do the following

Must haves
- Good photo quality
- Cheap replacement carts
- CD/DVD printing
- All in one (i.e. Scanner built in)

Nice to haves
- Duplexing
- Seperate paper trays (photo and normal)
- Quiet operation
- WIFI

Looking to spend up to £100

Used primarily for printing CD/DVDs and fast text printing, although the wife occasionally wants photos printed!

Please, could you recommend one? Feedback on models such as Canon MP630 and HP C5280 wecomed plus any others I might not know about !!

Thanks very much in advance!
(apologies if i've posted this in the wrong section)

Canon cartridges are expensive!
The best option for printers are Brother ones, followed by Epson.

Even if the printer costs more, it'll work out a lot cheaper in the long run.

E.g - assume you change cartridges every 3 months
Brother - £50 printer, £13 replacement set of cartridges = £102 over a year
Canon - £40 printer - £28 replacement set of cartridges = £152 over a year

Epsons are good too, but their newer printers aren't that good, they focus more on coming up with ways to stop printers accepting compatible cartridges - which could also work out expensive if they succeed.

PS: cartridge prices based on those at Consumable City

Hi,

I'm also looking for something like this! Any suggestions?
Thanks!
