Thinking of buying a sat nav for the wife - been looking at the deals in Tesco Amazon and PC World.

Not sure if Gamin or Tom Tom is better I have read Garmin is more precise but not sure.

I was looking at the Garmin NUVI 200W GB or something arounf £100 any feedback would be helpful

Anyone any knowledge of any current good deals. I would rather have store pick up

Thanks in advance

I've just ordered this one from Ebuyer, seems to get excellent reviews and for under £50.00 delivered, seems a bit of a bargain...

I've also been advised that if you have the tom tom software on a different SD card this can be used with this model. I'll review it in a couple of days when it arrives.

I can recommend the Navigo range of satnav ,BUT the pre-installed software is total rubbish . I'm talking about TurboDog 5 here. The units are good in themselves and are quite cheap and you can put just about any satnav software on you like. I have the 4.3" model and have had four differnt satnav software on the same 2G SD card ..................TD5 , TT7 ,MioMap & Igo .
I have just recently taken TT6 off and put TT7 on and got rid of the TurboDog . heres a pick:

I've had the Garmin Nuvi 200W for over a year and have been very pleased with it though it looks slightly dated compared to the 205WT now. For less than £80 now it's a good price
