Cast Iron. Do a Google search on how to correctly season a cast iron griddle pan.

A griddle pan is for a specific style of cooking, otherwise it's a frying pan! Only cast iron will do.

Follow the advice already given, get one, season it and don't scrub it clean!

I bought one from Ikea several years ago. Best one I have ever had and was around £12 or £13 then. As said previously do season it first

Cast Iron. Season It. Then oil the steak, not the pan...

Oh well it's a good pan. Let the steak reach room temperature, oil the steak and add to very hot pan. Perfect every time
