My youngest is about the same age and was also into Mickey Mouse etc but he has suddenly changed to older toys (pier pressure i think). Ben 10 is always good and boys do like to dress up too (my son has the Ben 10 outfit which he loves). The other thing my little one is into is hasbro Galactic Heroes which are small stand up Star Wars figures (as we have the 360 lego games) these also come in Transformers and spiderman etc. Have a look in Tesco as they are doing 3 for 2 on all toys or Amazon . I hope this helps :)

FAB!! My daughter is 8 and still loves playing on it, as do Mummy and Daddy and they hardly wear at all.

Ask the parents, that way he gets something he has asked for but they have not got him, so he will be really pleased with it and they will be pleased with it

Also means you wont waste your money on something he has already got

My son's 5 this year and has also switched from the disney type programmes to the older ones. The current obsessions are Ben 10 and Power Ranger's Jungle Fury. Asda (and Argos) are selling the figures of both so very easy to get. Good luck.
