Personally I love the simplicity of the Mondaine watches, but think their cheapest ones are around £120

I personally prefer seiko but guess it's a personal choice

Casio edifice ....

the MVMT ones can be had for around £100 and they're decent like

Depends what you mean by quality. If you want something rugged and long lasting get a G-Shock.

creation watches or skywatches both have plenty of good options under £100. Anything by Citizen or Seiko from there should be excellent value

got a nearly new seiko kinetic actura on ebay a few years back for a little more than £100, came with high Street shop receipt and remainder of warranty. if you don't mind used then there's bargains to be had if you know what you're looking for. lovely watch, steel strap and self winding as you move.

i have a g shock , use it for work , holidays , it gets abused , still going , still has the original battery, 6 years. would def recommend. But if something special is needed Casio edifice ? Casio watches are bullet proof .

Spend a little more and buy an SKX007:

This watch is highly regarded even by people who own Rolexes.

+1 for Citizen or Seiko (Someday all watches will be made this way)
