edit. available at lamdatek at 11 july, but google suggest other stores similar prices

The biggest ones availible currently are 500GB, the buffalo ministation for example.

320GB ones at around £70 seem to be the best deal in terms of cost per gigabyte at the moment.

Am I correct in thinking that a firewire connection is faster?
If so can anyone point me in the direction of a good deal.
Thanks

It can be faster if you use a drive that exceeds USB speed, but firewire ports are on far fewer computers.
