I bought a memory foam topped mattress from bed express via Amazon, its really good and fantastic price ( under £100 for king size)

what size?

I bought one from Mattressman.co.uk and can honestly say how impressed I was. Excellent value for money, and the customer service was good too.

I have purchased in the past from ebay, the same companies sell cheaper on ebay than on there own sites.

Don't know how much you want to spend but I paid £200 for a silent night one from little woods after having a memory foam for about 5 years. It's amazing so comfy & brill for my back. Really thick & bouncy x

I would not recommend buying a mattress 'blind' over the internet as you don't know how comfy it is or whether it will meet your needs re firmness, softness etc.

You would be better served going around bed shops trying out mattresses, once you find one (or more) that suits you then go on the internet and try to find a better price for the mattress. That way you avoid buying a pig in a poke.

Bought a 2000 Pocket Sprung Mattress from Groupon in January 2014, not comfortable I'm afraid.

We looked at a Sleepeezee Cairo in Dreams that was up for £1150 (+ £40 del, + £35 ext g/tee). Bought the same mattress under a different name (Sleepeezee Backcare Ultimate 2000) for £330, delivered with 5yr g/tee elsewhere. Mattress is superb and we'll worth what we paid, but don't get conned by Dreams.

How did you find this online? I've just been into Dreams and picked a couple that I really want to find cheaper online? Thanks.

Spoke to a local bed specialist who confided their dodgy renaming scam and used the spec of the Cairo to identify the model they were calling that. Then hit Google to find the best price. Take note of the spring count and type, filling materials and construction, then find which generic model they've renamed and find it elsewhere for a fraction of the price.
