Had a bit of a cold since Saturday probably as I went out Thursday night for a few drinks and flatmate brought loads of friends back.

Anyway Its maninly my nose that is annoying, my head isnt too bad but my nose is either clogged or runny.

I know I can get menthol crystals but they are expensive these days.

Try steaming, boiled water in a bowl, lean over with towel over head and breathe, obviously be careful not to scald yourself

Only seen them before in a chemist where they wanted like £2 for a pot, know they last ages but I only get colds a few times a year if that so will be sitting for months unused and likely thrown out when I move.

Ryouga, menthol crystals in very hot water last thing at night is excellent for a good night's sleep. However, you need
1. Anti-histamine tablet to stop your nose running (1 every 8 hours)
2. Ibruprofen tablet to stop aches & pains (1 every 8 hours)
3. Plenty of black tea with sunflower seeds

Guaranteed to make you better within 2 days. Well, it works for me! ;)

Sudafed nose spray is brilliant for clearing a blocked nose - I wont use anything else now if I get congested.
