Currys?

You could go to any TV retailer and ask. Depends also on the size of the TV - I took a 22" TV abroad in my suitcase. Not sure I would risk it in a cardboard box though - especially when they send the luggage down the chutes at the airport.

Currys?

I went there and they said they don't have any and wouldn't be able to keep me one even if one came. :(

Hmmm, I guess you're right I will try and find an actual tv box. Been to a cuple of tv retailers but no luck, will have another go tomorrow i guess.

Thanks

Not a help in this situation, but I tend to keep boxes for large items like this flat packed under the bed, makes live so much easier when you move to a new home and one less thing to buy. Plus as it's a place that you don't use you'll not find it inconvenient. I have all my TV boxes, games consoles and desktop boxes all kept in this fashion. Well except the surround sound as I put the polystyrene holders for the aforementioned items in that in the attic. Much easier even if you have your own home as you never know when you'll move and all it takes is a bit of packing tape to get the boxes back up and running. Plus when moving packing tape is certainly not something you'd run out of.
