My missus wants a new travel cup for a stocking filler for Christmas so she can take a cuppa tea on her morning drive. Can anyone recommend one please, it needs to hold about 2 cups tea maximum, and mainly has to not leak in her car.

Thanks a lot

I have this. Keeps drinks hot for over 2 hours, it is not anti spill though but comes with a holder. I've never had any issue with spills.

These cups are a nightmare. Burn your mouth with a crafty sip while driving. Miss your mouth and end up with it down you which causes you to swerve all over the road. They are a accident / disaster waiting to happen. You really need to be safe and stationary to drink hot fluids so what's wrong with a flask? Make sure you put a roll of paper towel with the go cup and some spare clothes. Perfect gift for secret santana along with poo in a box.. Lol...

Have a look at Bodum. You an get them pretty much everywhere and there is usually stock at TK Maxx too. Me and my wife have these and the are excellent.

Hi, my daughter always uses the Bodum travel mug as this is the only one that doesn't leak in her bag. Although be warned, it is not dishwasher safe.

Hi all, thanks for all the great advice and recommendations, I Might go for a bodum as they seem popular and get great reviews, as does the contigo cup I've linked below, can I just ask which particular model of bodum people have? Thanks very much.

Hi, the last bodum mug I bought for my daughter was in January and it's still going strong. It was this one "Bodum UK 0.35 L/12 oz Travel Mug"

I'd highly recommend the contigo both myself & the Mrs have them they're superb, if you do make sure you get the one with the lock then you get no accidental opening in a bag ect like this one https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00K2SS5GQ/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1480966544&sr=8-2&pi=SY200_QL40&keywords=contigo%2Btravel%2Bmug%2B2.0&dpPl=1&dpID=419d82iD0gL&ref=plSrch&th=1&psc=1

what ever you get its more important to fill it to the top the more air in the container the quick the drink will cool down

These are the ones we have (wife=red, me=black). There are more colours available and they seem to be £12.99 at Currys and John Lewis at the moment.

I have this and it keeps hot (not just warm) for 2 hours. Also, you can hold it upside down without spillage/leaks.

They are pricey but worth it..
