So I need to setup another Plex box for one of the kids....
I have an old White NowTV box and an old Beelink X2 1Gb Android TV box kicking around ...which one would be faster?

Or Should i just go an get one of the £15 Black Gen2 NowTV boxes?

It will only be used for Plex

Since you have both to hand I would try both. I remember the white now tv box being a bit sluggish, but that could have been my wifi.

The black now TV box has a cat5 Ethernet port, given that these boxes are practically free (once the value of the voucher is taken into account) that might be the best route.

Ah...I didn't know the newer NowTV box had ethernet., I'll go for one of those then.
