not sure about the free traffic updated, theres simply to much choice!!!!

which is why most people choose TomTom. Checkout the new namvan range, well worth a look.

Halfords have some discounts code flying around too, for purchases over £200

TomTom have a new nav unit coming out, has live traffic updates via a built in sim, think its about £250ish live traffic is included for first year, then about £9 per month.

I've got a C510T.

Very happy with it.

Comes with the GTM21 traffic module - so free lifetime subscription to TMC info.

That's not perfect, yet, as you may find in some areas the TMC reception isn't very strong - but in general it works well.

I don't know of any easy way for the custom voices you can get for TomTom sat navs.

Do you really mean the 310d, or the 510d?

If so, I've got a 510T, and the only difference between that and the 510D, isn't the actual unit - that's identical - nor the traffic module - same - the only difference is the 510D has full euro mapping (not installed on the unit, though) has a DVD supplied and an unlock code for it.
