Seems like you have already made up your mind and are being seduced by the % saving rather than the product! I'd go for one with a counter as well.

price reduction is always seductive! Thats why I end up buying most of the stuff posted!

how will you know what speed you have achieved if you don't get a counter?

i got a counter one and is awesome

trust me, if you get one without a counter you will regret it.

your choice though!

Don't forget to get a leather pouch to put your ball(s) in!

All this talk of powerballs got me interested in one, so I went for the signature pro ltd edition (whatever that means) Anyway it has lights and a speedmeter/counter. I'm sure it will look great in the drawer in a weeks time.

I can get 10000 in my right and 6400 in my left. Going to start using it more often see if i can get some decent scores.

Hello mate,

The original invention of the powerball was for rehab for sports injuries, the IronPwoer series 'WERE' the best you could get. I say the word 'were' as I have not bothered with them for a good year or more.

If you want one for fitness measures then the IronPower against that 250hz one is well and truly in a league of it's own. The internal organs of the IronPower series are a result of genuine German precision made engineering, as for the Powerball series, well they are not in the same league.

However if you want one for fun then go with the one with the counter, they are still very good, in fact the 250hz one could be a decent piece of kit. Been awhile since I even looked at a powerball.

Please note that it is impossible to fit a counter to any IronPower Metal "Series 1". As for the new series I have no idea, I do not deal with them anymore but you will not find them at this price anyway.

Also please take into consideration the IronPower balls are smooth metal and easily slip out of your hands when the going gets tough, a fingerless body building glove will solve this issue.

Judging from the replys recieved, I think the NSD powerball with counter will be more fun to use so I'll just go for that, Play do have the metal version with counter but costs about #60!

Use your thumb to flick the mechanism repeatedly, as if you were clicking your fingers, if you can get the speed up so that the lights start, then go on to start revving it up with the gradual circular wrist movements. Doesn't work everytime, if you try and rush it, it will just slow down.
