Hi
My son has always had a DS but now wants a PSP which I know nothing about.
Can someone clarify which is the most up to date console please and a rough idea of what i would expect to pay new.
His birthday is in a week so i have to act quite quickly.
Also if anyone can recommend a couple of good games to get him going. He will be 13.
Thanks in advance.

You can't buy a "Go", as they are not even released, so not sure why it's been suggested.

psp slims run custom firmware pretty well!
least mine does......
Great way to save money if ur just gonna use it for Custom firmware is to buy one from ebay with a broken laser (i.e. doesn't read games), they can be gotten for 40-50quid delivered (for the slims, less for the phat ones).
then just put custom firmware and play some games! :)
