Used to have an old slow cooker that I bought in bootsale, but that thing stopped working after some time, was a great thing while it lasted. Now want to buy a new one, but wanted to spend as little as possible, yet want one that is at least 5litres large. I saw one in aldi that was 3.5litres for only £13 but that thing was way too small so Looking for at least 5 litre one. I see they sell one in argos - cookworks 5.5l for £20, but not sure about the quality.
Than also saw 6.5l andrew james from ebay for £25 but not sure which one is the best, ideally I wouldn't want to spend much more than £20 on one as wont be using it that often anyway.

thanks.

You can do much better with pressure cooker. Save both time and energy.

X)

Curries, chilli, chinese dishes to name a few spicy tasty dishes.

It`s what you put in any cooking that makes the taste, bland in bland out, try some herbs and spices to give your food flavour ;)

Anyway, they are all pretty much the same. It's a bit like asking which is the best kettle

go for one that has high low and warm settings. mine auto switches to warn after cooking time. I have a very large one and a smaller one. both used often. never bland.
