Which Tablet to get?

I'm looking to get myself a tablet but don't want to get a full size iPad.

I'm mainly going to be reading books so nothing to heavy.

Also it would be handy if it had a web brower and the possibility to run Sky Go.

Don't want to spend more than £200.

I've been looking at an iPad Mini, Kindles and Nooks. Also are those new Tesco Hidls any good?

Thanks for any advice.

Thanks.

Acer Iconia A1-810
The Acer Iconia A1 is a 7.9-inch tablet aimed at 'modern day explorers, adventurers, digital freaks and busy mobile executives'. It is powered by a quad-core 1.2GHz processor, and its 1024 x 768 4:3 ratio screen is made up of an IPS LED-backlit display. It weighs 410g and is 11.1mm thick.

Touch WakeApp gesture control allows the user to jump to their favourite app straight from sleep mode, and there's a 3G version with Wi-Fi for those on the move. A 5-megapixel rear-facing camera is capable of capturing 1080p video at 30 frame per second.

Both 8GB and 16GB versions are available, with each able to be expanded through microSD by an extra 32GB. The A1 costs £149.99, with the 3G model coming in at £209.99 (from July).

I have no idea why you'd recommend a £150 tablet for someone who just wants to read books and do a bit of web browsing?

If that's literally all you want to do, I'd personally say get a Kindle e-reader - not a tablet. I much prefer e-ink screens for reading and you'd be able to use the web browser for basic websites. If you want a proper tablet so you get full-colour and full-feature websites etc. then virtually any tablet around will do the job.

I was looking at the Nooks but will I be able to get Sky Go?

Both my wife and daughter has iPad but I want something smaller. I was also thinking about an iPad mini but are there similar options out there for less the price?
