Which under 200£ android phone to buy?

as title, i'd like a change, been with apple since the 2G! so ive had the same phone, just slightly quicker, thinner, bigger every upgrade.

Played with a galaxy s2 with kitkat cyanogen and i loved it, Currently have an iphone 5C.

I dont mind if the 200£ is spent on a second hand handset, i'd prefer new, but what would 200£ get me in terms of an android handset?

Help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

I've had a Nexus 4 but I prefer the Moto G - just a personal opinion.

Any Moto G, which ever suits your needs.

Of course, with everything you normally get better the more you pay. Just a suggestion.

Still a massive fan of the Nexus. :)

I would go for eBay every time. Picked up an Xperia Z1 for £100 two weeks ago. For £200 you could get a Z Ultra, an N5, probably even a OnePlus One if you're patient.

Just a heads up before going for the OnePlus One, I'd check out reviews first. I've seen alot of people suggesting they've had issues and OnePlus customer service was terrible. No experience myself though.

Pay a bit more and get a oneplus one or a second hand s5.
#14
I know it's out of your price range a fair bit, but there are a few S5 deals I am seeing on here from Vodaphone..

Aside from that, these guys' responses all seem to cover the stuff I would add :).

LG G3 is getting closer to £200, but not quite there yet

Whats changed in a month?

"only an android phone will ever need 8 cores and 3gb of ram, then still need upgrading in a years time due to poor software coding (on purpose) making the phone dog slow again..."

I put cyanogen on an old s2 for my dad. Played with it and was impressed. Biggest thing for me is that I've just got a 5C and yes it's nice, but I need a change, I've had iPhones for the past 5 years or so, they're all the bloody same. I'm sure android os will become the same thing to me, but it's time for a change as I'm bored poopless

I hate iPhones. You are completely restricted to using Apple or Apple approved software. Plus, every app costs money.

Android is totally customisable. You can have your phone exactly how you like it.

Moto G is much better than the Samsung S4 Mini / S4 in my opinion. No junk on it at all, and it really does work well.

Moto G, no contest.

i think my point is still valid, cyanogen developers have done wonders and turned the S2 into something way ahead of what it was meant for, whereas stock versions progressively slow down the phone in general, the more versions that get released.

but still..

Have s1 still. Wish it was easy to add cyanagen but it's so complicated.

How about sony xperia m2, runs kitkat 4.4.2 and sony firmware means can move apps to removable sd card.
