You won't get much. Too many people claim for 'whiplash' which pushes everyone's premiums up each year.
banned#2
First of all you should see a doctor.
#3
You realise to claim whiplash you will be made to jump through 100 hoops, attend countless appointments. All for a grand or so, its not worth it and lets face it you dont have whiplash
#4
Have some self respect and pride and not make a false claim.
#5
You've got a bad neck? Never mind the claim, I'd cut down on the masturbation.
#6
are you in a union?
#7
You can't claim for something you don't know you have.

I despise the solicitors who chase the accident that claims but if you truly have an injury go and see your doctor and they will tell you what you do (or don't have).

A solicitor will just direct you at a gp or more likely a medical review (that they'll claim back on the insurance claim) as it needs a medial opinion.
#8
grow a pair and move on
#9
Me - I'm happy to get you £2200 to £3500 just give me all your details and as a bogus erm I mean bonus I can follow up your PPI , bad investment claims and medical negligence if the doc didn't turn up to see you.

everyone is talking like they would never claim for whiplash when these days people moan over 10p! iv seen people at checkouts saying they have been overcharged for this , or they had to pay extra on car tickets in town etc etc.
op has paid for insurance just like you and everyone else, he will pay for you , when you will have a whiplash!
of course this will get voted down but I'm really not bothered!

try claim time solicitors, good reviews from me .
you will get £1,300 - £1,500 obviously depending on how you are.
you will need to see Dr for check up.
#11
If you are injured... You shouldn't ordinarily need legal representation for a whiplash claim , phone the at fault insurer and tell them you want to claim direct for your injury from them
#12
Wait a while and you'll get a phone call.

You realise you pay for his claim and every other false claim dont you? its not coming out of the insurers pocket. But hey you're entitled to it..
#14
you will not necessarily see a doctor or need a solicitor. I was assessed over the phone, directly with the other drivers insurers.
I have received £1100 on one claim and £1800 on another claim.
On the second claim, me and my passenger both got £1800 just dealing direct with the insurer.
#15
I was asked on a scale of 1-10 the amount of pain etc.
Not even asked for doctors note or any pictures.

Insurers know from the extent of vehicle damage the likelihood of personal injury.

Did you refuse medical attention at the scene?

Are you off work due to this injury?

Have you seen a doctor?

When did the accident occur?
#17
I am off sick since the accident. I have seen a doctor and I have been referred for physio. The accident was last Wednesday.

Thanks for a decent answer. Everyone else here thinks claiming for whiplash is the worlds biggest crime. I have actually had an accident and want to know about any good solicitors.

Twice I have been hit from behind, one DUI and the other run off, leaving his girlfriend in the passenger seat. Nice chap. No charges for him, police lost original notes. Compensation in my eyes.
#22
This reminds me of the black knight scene in holy grail where loss of a limb is described as "tis but a scratch" get a grip people,
injuries are always funny till it happens to you.

no i don't but nothing was untoward from the quote, i am sick however of people stating that valid claims from insurers are the only reason our policies cost so much, never mind the millions of profit insurers yet we never seen one instance of a good year for an insurance company result in refunds on premiums.
