you got together and got married within a year?

that's quick mate!!!

my advice would be to wait until you see what she has organised for you - that'll give you a level for comparison!

go for chocs, flowers, perfume, etc. etc. then something like a spa day or massage etc.

an eternity ring?

that comes after the birth of your first child traditionally doesnt it??

How about something personal like a scrap book of pics of the time you have been together??
A nice thing to do that is cheap go for a walk in the country weather permitting obviously a nice hamper with a bit of chapers would go down well im sure!!!

now if someone could pass these hints and tips on to my other half :viking:

it's a bad idea to set a precedent.

I'd just let this year pass, then maybe build up to a card next year.

i am surprised no one has mentioned a charm bracelet. Its the normal reply to this question.

the idea is to add a charm each year/anniversary/occasion/child/christmas/etc

hot diamonds do lovely bracelets and charms.

(Hint hint to my hubby who may be checking up on my posts later)

hi all..... its my b.day today.. and last night.. she spend whole 1 hour to light candles(standard b.day candles) in my room(i was forbidden to enter) and sharp at midnight.. she was ready in the bedroom.. wiht lots of flowers + candles and a cake.. it was lovely.. on top of that she gifted me an earing + shrit+t-shirt + perfume + some soft toys.. and offcorse a good all night cuddle (..lol...).

I have some planned from above.. what about using lots fo candles with some nice aroma.. should decorate room as well.. will be getting her a dress tonight.(coz we going out for dinner) can get her perfume..

Its shame.. she is my wife and i dont know much what she will like and what she wont..

and ya.. i forgot to mention about the handmade chocolate cake.. she is made.. spend all her day in preparation...

Happy Birthday!

Why not buy her a few little gifts and make her a treasure hunt with clues to find the gifts?
