Deals will keep changing coming upto xmas, so not sure what they are like at mo but will prob get better.

Get yourself a wiimote charger. I got one that charges 2 wiimotes for about £20 which is average price.

How old is he? and will he be playing it mostly on his own or with people?

Recommend you get the charger as mentioned above. Also 2 wii remotes and 2 numchuks are a must. When buying the extra remote, get the Wii play package. You get more games with a controller for an extra fiver.
Also a top tip is borrow or hire a wii game before purchasing as some top titles are such a let down. i.e. Mario Party 8

might be worth getting one sooner rather than later if the nintendo people are to be believed. they think there will be a shortage of them available coem christmas time.

Hes 12 and the other three are 8 and 5 and 33 lol.

Allways better to get an idea off people who have used and bought them :)...

Been thinking about getting one myself - the cheapest way i've found so far is to get a mobile phone contract deal from phones 4 U which gives you both cashback and the Wii free.

if you include the £50 quidco cashback you can get a Wii for £110

the tracking link from quidco isn't working for me currently but i'm going to hopefully bag one this week.

When stock levels are low these mobile phone companies are usually the last ones to get stock. I'd give them a call to check before you order.

My Dh has just come home with after hunting around Taunton (Somerset) and WHSMiths had 2 in stock, every other shop had sold out.

Just now he is refusing to put it away for Christmas:x

Choices UK through TopCashBack.co.uk (5%).

They don't do them without games, but the prices aren't bad.

Get it with Mario Strikers for £199.99 - 5% cashback is about £190.

Careful with choices at the moment, they've quickly closed the two shops near me down due to administration/bankruptcy- whilst you would be protected if they folded the company overnight, it could take some time to get your money back. Shame, cos it was a good company.
