I had a trainer (or daps for us Welsh) obsession for a few years and bought loads of pairs.
There's so many in my small house that I've run out of room and need to store them somewhere.
I don't have the boxes anymore, so my question is .........
If I put my trainers (daps) into bags and stick them in the garage, will they go moudly or spoil?
Thank you for your time.

I've left trainers, coats, electronics in garages over the years. never had any problems with mould. however if you garage is particularly damp, why not get them vacuum storage bags??

As above.

Vacuum storage bags are way to go. Will keep out moisture, dust, odors and takes up less space.

Out of curiosity, how many pair do you have??

pop a pack of silica gel into the bag to be on the safe side unless someone states you can't use it in a plastic bag.

I'd say yes.

Everything goes mouldy in my garage! It's an old wooden separate one, but had a perfectly dry attached/integrated one that was fine for storage so depends what your garage is like.

I have about 20 that I need to store. Vacuum storage bags might well be the way to go.

I reckon you would get the lot in 2 of the larger bags.
Once youve vaccumed out the air its amazing how little space they take up.
I have a few with clothes in the loft.

If your garage is damp your trainers will go mouldy . If it is dry they won't
