Windolene Cream, where to locate stock?

I've been everywhere,

Asda, Sainsburys, Morrisons, Tescos, Semi Chem, Superdrug, Poundland, Poundstetchers, Savers and for the life of me can't find Windolene Cream only the spray.

Where do you purchase yours on the high street?

Needing to black out the windows on my new home.

This when we moved house we had some for the windows whilst decorating and our local store still stocks it.

Try looking in local shops where a lot of the customers are "the older generation".

Yeah they sell it at my local hardwear store - I think it's really old stock from the 80's.

ok haven't tried Nisa's yet, good shout. Don't really have hardware stores, wonder if the likes of B&Q might have it, probably not.

lol, they're trying to black them out not clean them.

OP, could you not stick newspaper on the glass, I'm sure I've seen people doing that these days.

Tried Wilkinsons this morning but alas, to no avail. Have rung Reckitt Benckiser who tell me that they do still make it but could not give me the names of any stockists!!!
Why is such a good product so hard to find???
