No you cannot use a BT wireless hub/router with your cable modem.

For BT you need an ADSL wifi router and for NTL you need a Cable wireless router.

You need something like this:

They are all wifi routers that you can use with your NTL modem.
Thanx for the info and link :p
wheres the best place to get an adapter for the wgt624?>

if you want that particular model better of getting it from ebuyer with the £10 through goodle checkout offer.http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/52450

Although if you look on Ebuyer there lots of others that are well reviewed for a lot less especially when you consider the google checkout discount. THe comments and reviews of each product will give you a good idea of the products capabilities - Ebuyer is v good for that.
