I'm thinking about buying a Motorola Moto X Play for £155 (deal was recently posted on HUKD).
Is there much difference between the two and is it worth me buying the Motorola?
I'm not really up with different specs, so I would welcome some advice.
Thank you.

other than the battery, its not an upgrade. its pretty much the same internals and specifications, albeit probably more reliable based on the reports of SU6 problems

Am I right in thinking that there is a Marshmallow update for the Motorola?
I know the SU6 won't get one.

I've had absolutely no problems with my SU6. Did have an issue with Facebook and Facebook Messenger a few weeks ago which caused the phone to freeze but this was a Facebook fault and nothing to do with the SU6 as the issue affected other budget phones as well at the time.

Have you tried resetting the phone?

If you have, and it's still under warranty, why not get it replaced? It's still a good phone and as others have said the Moto X Play has almost identical specs.

planned upgrade, nothing actually happened yet so i wouldnt count on it happening anytime in the near future. but yes, in the long term the moto should end up on MM and i doubt the SU6 will be updated again as you say.

Thanks for your advice.
I think I might stay with my SU6.
