Depends what your priorities are... camera / sound / gyro etc...

I always go for low-mid range handsets, or flagships from the past 1-2 years. I never spend more than £150.

I'm done with flagships...stupid high end features that add no real value, pointless assistants, pointless quad hd screens that just drain the same old 3000Mah battery even faster, faster CPU's that only add value in benchmarks). Only smartphone out there now with a 'decent' USP is the P2 with its amazing battery.
Midrange phones aren't the dogs they used to be, both the Xiaomi Mi Note and Lenovo P2 are astounding handsets for the money, The octacore Snapdragon 625 is a fine chip and sips juice.
Other than the Kudos of owning a £800 flagship I really don't see the point anymore.,
It's your choice in the end though, if you have the money go for whichever handset you like the look of. I'm sure if you buy the latest and greatest flagship you won't be disappointed.

I have the MotoZ and am very impressed with it for the price. As others have said though make your own mind up!

I've this morning order the LG G5 as a mid budget phone. I didn't like the Motorola G5 and i actually wanted the Wileyfox 2 X but the camera reviews put me off.

Anybody have a Huawei P8 Lite 2017? that comes as a midrange budget.

I can't decide between: Lenovo P2, Moto G 5 or the Huawei P8 Lite 2017

Problem is the OS on this won't last much longer without the updates effecting the phone too much

The P2 is best by far. Impressive performance, great build quality, endless 3 day battery and available for only £200. Camera is poor though but I don't use phone cameras much anyhow.

No the camera app is poor, it renders images badly when you review them...

Install a different camera app , problem solved

what app would you suggest? Needs to be easy to use but make a visible difference.
