the cheap aa's at ebay are a fake capacity, more like 350 mah

check out 7 days shop, and you can get 2800 mah's

as for the d's, get a aa to d converter, the rechargeable d's they sell are just one aa in a plastic case now, it also means you only need an aa charger (and you probably need a decent one there too, get one with delta-v, knows when they are charged and doesnt overheat the cells)

+1. 7dayshop is perhaps the best place to look. Ebay not recommended. For D size have a look at http://www.7dayshop.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=106264&r=A

Thanks which one would I need? Ni
-mh? What the beat when it come to me needing for petrol remote car? Are they the beat price and beat ones? Thanks

Hi, in your post you mentioned you would need 12-24 AA rechargable batterys and 2-4 D size. I don't know much about petrol cars but you would definitely need HIGH capacity batteries (highes mah) and FAST chargers. As someone mentioned ebay batteries are cheap but they are actually low capacity and fake. They run out faster and may cause health and safety issues. So I would suggest you avoid ebay altogether. 7dayshop is the cheapest I can find at the mo. I would recommend the following for you:

AA battery - http://www.7dayshop.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=777_3&products_id=101842 (3 packs of 4 batteries @ £3.99 each)

D battery - http://www.7dayshop.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=106264&r=A (2 packs of 2 batteries @ £3.69 each)

AA battery charger - http://www.7dayshop.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=777_3&products_id=101271 (It would take very long if you charge 4 batteries at a time. This costs £11.99)

D battery charger - http://www.7dayshop.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=777_3&products_id=102044 (costs £10.99)

You would have to spend another £45ish to get the batteries and chargers sorted.

Hope this helps.
